[edit] Receive assignments

Want to receive assignments? To get on the map for the next hour, say:

  • "on"

If you're only available for a few minutes, say:

  • "10m" or "30 mins"

Or if you've got all day, say:

  • "8 hours" or "2 days"

[edit] Set your location

Set your current location by starting a text with the word "at":

  • "at 01060" or "at 1 Main St., Northampton, MA"

[edit] You can combine them

Want to go on the map in Boston for 6 hours? Say:

  • "6h at Boston"

[edit] Going offline

Want to stop all contact? To abort all missions and get off the map, just say:

  • "off"

[edit] Accept missions

When you're sent missions by organizers, you can accept them with:

  • "y"

You might also be sent questions like "How many flowers do you need?", in which case you can respond with anything:

  • "12 dozen roses, please" or "i'm all set"

During a mission, you can report in with anything:

  • "mission's going great"

[edit] Complete missions

When you're done with a mission, say:

  • "done"

To get basic help with text commands, say:

  • "?"

You can start any message with the words "I", "I'm", "We are", and "We're" without affecting the action words like "at".

At any time you can send in reports by starting a text with the letter "r" or the word "report":

  • "r it's snowing!"

Or ask questions by ending with a question mark:

  • "where are you guys?"
